Where the data comes from

Observations come from the NOAA/NWS Aviation Weather Center METAR feed; forecasts, from the same network's TAF bulletins. Model charts come from GFS at 0.5°, processed by us. Each page keeps the raw message next to the decoded figures, so you can check the original wording before flight.
